A shout out to the brand new Lumos Alliance store on etsy. Lumos Alliance is a Harry Potter role play site. They are raising money to pay their annual server fees by selling creative Harry Potter jewelry on etsy.

Staff Appreciation Week {reminder}

It’s that time of year again, the time of year where we show how grateful we are for what we have and what a better way to show it then having a Staff Appreciation Week? From December 3rd – the 9th Lumos Alliance will be holding a Staff Appreciation Week to show the Staff how much we appreciate their hard work and dedication. For each day that week there are a certain ways to show our staff members how grateful you are.

Monday is Thank a Staff Member Day, pretty simple and self-explanatory. Just send them an owl saying how grateful you are or post on their wall; however you want to do it, let them know you are thankful they are here.

Tuesday is Gift a Staff Member Day. Send a little gift to the staff member of your choice.

Wednesday is Banner or Graphic Day where you make the staff member of your choice a little banner or graphic to tell them how awesome they are. You can post your works of art in the Artwork Corner.

Thursday is Story for a Staff Member. Post in the EH a story of your favorite lesson of class or about your favorite moment with a certain staff member.

Friday is Chat with a Professor Day, go have a nice talk with the professor of your choice, just say hello or have a nice long conversation of how awesome they are.

Saturday is Head of House Appreciation Day, go tell your head of house just how awesome and fabulous they are. Make some banners; leave a note, anything to show your HoH how wonderful they are.

Sunday is simply Staff Appreciation Day, the student staff is making a huge banner to show the Staff how much we love them but we are taking signatures and pictures from everyone to be added to the banner.

We are announcing this two weeks ahead of time so you all can start planning and getting ready for this important event.

Just a reminder, everyone. This starts next week. Are you ready for it?
